Pleasant Prairie RecPlexRecreational facilities.  Just a couple miles away is the Pleasant Prairie RecPlex and IcePlex facility.  The RecPlex and IcePlex are located on the shore of Lake Andrea inside Prairie Springs Park.  With a combined square footage of over 260,000 sq ft, these two impressive facilities create a family-oriented recreation destination offering four main activity areas: an aquatics center, fitness center, athletic fieldhouse and two NHL-sized ice rinks.  A wide variety of recreation, sports and fitness classes and programs are available year-round for all ages and abilities.  Annual memberships and day passes are available for RecPlex.  IcePlex is open to the general public daily on a pay per program/pay per use basis.  Both facilities host a wide variety of regional and local sporting events throughout the year.

Your kind of town.  On the shores of Lake Michigan in the heart of downtown Kenosha, you’ll find the Harbor Park with it’s sprawling parks and festival places, beautiful fountains and picturesque sunrises.  Right next door you can visit the Kenosha Public Museum or the new Civil War Museum.  Nearby you could find the Kenosha Pops playing at the Sesquicentennial Band Shell or wander over to the new Kenosha History Center on Simmons Island and delve into the rich history of our hometown.

Traditional events are well known throughout the area.  The Kenosha Symphony Orchestra performs at the Reuther Auditorium. The YMCA hosts Food Folks & Spokes an annual International Cycling Race at Library Park.  Local art fairs, car shows, theatre groups and the Harbor MarketPlace, a seasonal outdoor plaza round out flavor and fun to the area.  All of this, right in your own backyard!
